Course Description

When I show people my sketchnotes, they often say,

“I wish I could draw like that”

and I reply,

“You can!

They normally don’t believe me, and you may not when you see sketchnotes.

A lot of people get worked up about drawing, but everything I'm going to show you is 100% doable. You've been doing it all your life without noticing.

If you've ever looked at sketchnotes and wanted to use them to capture ideas better, this is the place to start. At the end of the lessons you'll be ready to put pen to paper and begin creating.

Course Details

15 total lessons

I take the essential lessons of creating sketchnotes and have built them out even more in this course. We go through the basics, next-level training, and taking the leap in digital sketchnote creation and editing.

5 practice exercises

One of the best things you can do to improve with sketchnotes (or anything) is practice. This rebuilt course includes new practice prompts that will help you grow and be more confident in your work.

5 brand new videos

Video is a powerful learning tool so my friend Mike helped me build an overhead camera for the purpose of creating more sketchnote videos! I can't wait to share them with you, and will cover technique, structure, pacing during live talks, and more.

Demo trainings on my favorite iOS apps

To me, the best apps for sketchnotes are Paper, Procreate, and Scannable. Specific trainings for each are included along with the custom workflows I use.

Sketchnote blogger icon pack ($15 value)

On request from several bloggers, I've created a sketchnote icon pack specifically for use on the web. This is a separate product that I'm including free for early buyers of the course!

Sketchnote stickers 2-pack ($5 value)

This is a special "thank you" that won't be available anywhere else. You'll get them in the mail (score!) before Christmas.
